ESN Lapland goes to Saariselkä

Join ESN Lapland on 28.11.2020-02.12.2020 as we are going far beyond the Arctic Circle to experience the real Finnish winter in the northernmost ski resort of Europe in Saariselkä, the place which has ski slopes open sometimes even in June! Visit Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi and meet the real Santa. Ride with huskies in the winter wonderland, practice your cross-country skills in UKK National park, drive with snowmobiles, and adventure into the Arctic landscapes. Swim in the Arctic Ocean, feel the nature around you - all these with student-friendly prices! You will sleep in cozy cottages located on the Kaunispää fell - the perfect place for watching the Northern Lights!

The price of the trip starts from 299 €.

 

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

- A round trip by bus to Saariselkä from the chosen departure place
- Accommodation in 3-14 person cottage/apartment with sauna for 4 nights
- Tour guide services in the destination

 

PACKAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

- Catering, meals, breakfasts
- Bed linen (you can bring your own or rent at 15€/stay)
- Extra activities as described in the itinerary (can be booked online until 8 days before departure)

SAFETY MEASURES OF TIMETRAVELS

• We highly recommend wearing face masks on the bus ride.

• Our busses will be regularly cleaned, following the guidelines of the WHO and Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare.

 

• There will be a seating order on the busses, divided by accommodation so that the travelers that stay in one cottage/apartment are also sitting next to each other on the bus.

 

• There will be space on the bus to isolate travelers if they start to feel sick during the bus ride until we reach a healthcare center to get the person tested. We have created a procedure for this to ensure the safety of the rest of the group.

 

• There will be hand sanitizer available on all buses and in the accommodation.

 

• The accommodation will be cleaned after every group following the guidelines of the WHO and Finnish Insitute for Health and Welfare.

 

• GOOD NEWS! We can include the travel insurance for everyone on all our tours, which means that students have a very small risk and get all their money back if they get sick before departure and can provide us with a doctor's certificate! Since this is the case, we will be as strict as flight companies at the moment as well and don't allow anyone with respiratory symptoms (running nose, cough, sore throat, fever) on our tours!

 

• In case we cannot conduct the trips due to travel restrictions, we will refund the full amount to travelers.
