Arriving to Rovaniemi and need some household items? Here is some info on the recycling room run by ESN Lapland! The recycling room is a place where students from previous semesters have left some useful things, which you can get for free! And once your time in Rovaniemi comes to an end, you can drop off stuff to the recycling room for the future students to use.

Here are some example of what you can find from the recycling room: 

  • Bedding (pillows, duvets, bedsheets)
  • Kitchenware (pots and pans, plates and cups, cutlery and utensils)
  • Lights
  • Cleaning equipment (mops, buckets, drying racks)
  • Decoration
  • Sports equipment


The recycling room is located in the basement of DAS Lauri (Opintie 2 https://maps.app.goo.gl/sPNQHMBiakrJTHG18). The opening hours will be posted on ESN Lapland's Instagram page (https://www.instagram.com/esnlapland/), so keep an eye on it! The post will also say whether we are opening the recycling room for pick-ups or drop-offs.
