On Friday, 20.8, let’s celebrate the end of your first week here! We start with a checkpoint race after which we will gather around in Culture House Wiljami to enjoy good company & have fun.

Have you heard of checkpoint race concept? It’s one of the most traditional students’ activities in Finland. You will be divided into small groups of students and handed out a map. During the race your team will be completing various of fun tasks given by the checkpoint holders. It’s not a serious sport event, the main idea is to have a lot of fun and make new friends! It’s also a good chance to get to know Rovaniemi and all the cool places better. The checkpoint race takes place outside so make sure to dress according to the weather! Put your best attitude on and come join us! Please make sure to arrive on time.

a lot of information and new things to remember. It’s time to get all the stress away and enjoy a cozy evening with your fellow students. We have planned some games and prepared snacks for you. Most importantly come and make new friends that will last for the whole autumn semester and even longer. We will also announce the winners of the checkpoint race so make sure your team mates are present to celebrate your victory.
